ESSKA Congress, May 2016 Barcellona

Rebecca Russo takes part in the 17th ESSKA Congress 2016 Barcelona, Spain by European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy.

The Scientific Committee of ESSKA has accepted as oral presentation in the Programme the submission of the abstract n.2137 entitled “A new psychological method to improving rehabilitation following total knee artroplasty”.

The abstract has been anonymously reviewed by designated experts and received a very good score.

Selected Videos from the Videoinsight® Collection of Rebecca Russo are shown full time in the Videoinsight® channel on demand in all rooms of the Hospital in order to promote Well-being.

The Project was set up with Lina S. Moukheiber, MPH, Director of Development.

Rome, SIGASCOT International Congress 2016

The application of the Videoinsight® Method by Rebecca Russo in Medicine is moving on.

Rebecca Russo will present the innovative results of the Pilot Multicentric International Study ‘PF Project’ running for the ‘Application of the Videoinsight® Method in Therapy to treat the anterior knee pain of young patients with patello-femoral problems not suitable for surgical treatment’ during the SIGASCOT International Congress 2016 entitled ‘Combined Meeting Sigascot International patellofemoral study group’ that will be held in Rome at CONI Palace on December 2-3 2016.

The ‘PF Project’ Project was performed simultaneously:
in Usa at the University of Minnesota in the Minneapolis Orthopaedic Surgery Center directed by Prof. E. Arendt
in France at the Lyon Orthoclinic Chirurgie du Sport et de l’Arthrose
directed by Dr D. Dejour
in Japan at the Kobe University
in cooperation with Prof. R. Kuroda
in Italy at the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute
in collaboration with Prof. M. Marcacci and Prof. S. Zaffagnini
in Italy at the Molise University Departments of Medicine and Well-being Sciences in collaboration with Prof. A. Schiavone Panni.

The PF Project is the third scientific application of the Videoinsight® Method in Medicine. Moreover it is the first International Multicentric Experimental Application of the Videoinsight® Method in Medicine in the world. For the first time the Videoinsight® Method was applied successfully as a therapy and not only as a support to a post-surgical Rehabilitation protocol.

Rome, SIOT National Congress 2015

Rebecca Russo has presented the results of the ‘Video- Tka Research: the Videoinsight® Method improves the Rehabilitation after total knee replacement’ during the SIOT National Congress 2015, Rome, 7 – 10 November 2015.
The Video – Tka Medical Research was made at the Rizzoli Institute in collaboration with the team directed by Prof. M.G. Benedetti.

Since June 2015 Videoinsight® Foundation started a collaboration with Doctor Bruce A. Levy at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota. Videos from the Videoinsight® Collection will be shown to patients for the Promotion of Well-being.
